The FT has partnered with Service Now for several years to deliver a dedicated content partner hub to explore how digital transformation, big data and AI are reshaping business and society. Working closely with the team at FT Studio, I designed a series of immersive digital articles across two consecutive years. The first instalment delivered a rich narrative scrolling experience, interspersed with data visualisations and editorial illustrations by Hungarian illustrator Hanna Tintor. The visual approach balanced clarity and depth, helping to translate complex AI themes into engaging and accessible storytelling. The following year, the series adopted a lighter, more humorous tone. Featuring the simple, expressive style of UK illustrator Ryan Gillet, the art direction brought warmth and wit to the subject of AI, humanising the technology and making it feel more relatable. This instalment also incorporated interactive polls throughout the articles, encouraging reader participation and deepening engagement. ___ Illustrations by Hanna Tintor and Ryan Gillet
